Connect Physio | Mobile Physio for Runners & Young Athletes — Five Dock, Canada Bay & Ryde

Mobile physiotherapy · Five Dock, Canada Bay & Ryde

The physio comes to you.

No clinic, no waiting room, no time off work or school. Josh brings the assessment and the treatment to your home, and builds your rehab around the space and equipment you actually have.

Doctor of Physiotherapy, nine years' clinical experience, and a runner himself. Most of Josh's work is with runners and young athletes — alongside back and neck pain, NDIS participants and older adults.

How mobile physio works

Same treatment. Your living room instead of a clinic.

Mobile physiotherapy isn't a lesser version of clinic care. In most cases it's a better one, because Josh sees how you actually live and move.

Get in touch

Call, text, or send your details through the form. Josh will talk through what's going on before anything is booked.

Josh comes to you

An appointment at your home, at a time that fits around work, school and sport. The first visit runs about an hour.

Assessment and treatment

A thorough examination, hands-on treatment where it's warranted, and a plain explanation of what's going on.

A plan that fits your life

Exercises prescribed with the equipment you have, in the space you have — which is why they actually get done.

Where Josh spends most of his time

Two groups Josh knows inside out.

Josh treats a broad range of conditions. But running injuries and young athletes are where nine years of clinical work and a lifetime of his own training actually compound.

🏃

Runners

Josh runs and races himself. He knows what a training block looks like from the inside — and why "just rest it" is the advice runners ignore.

  • Achilles and calf problems
  • Plantar heel pain
  • Runner's knee and ITB pain
  • Shin pain and bone stress injuries
  • Hip and glute-related pain
  • Recurring niggles that keep interrupting training

Assessment, load management, and the strength work that lets you keep running while it settles — not a blanket instruction to stop.

Young athletes

The injuries that come from growing and playing sport at the same time, assessed at home and worked around school and training.

  • Sever's disease (heel pain)
  • Osgood-Schlatter (pain below the kneecap)
  • Shin splints
  • Growing pains
  • Ankle and knee injuries from sport
  • Getting back to play safely after injury

Explained in language your child understands, because kids who know why it hurts stick to the plan.

Where Josh travels

Five Dock and the wider Canada Bay region, and the Ryde area. Just outside? Call and ask — it may still be workable.

Fees

Initial assessment $150  ·  Follow-up $120

No additional travel fee. The price is the same wherever Josh sees you within the service area.

Private health rebates may apply depending on your level of cover.

Meet Josh

BChiroSc, DPT, APAM

Josh is a Doctor of Physiotherapy with over nine years of experience helping people overcome pain and get back to doing what they love. Much of that work has been with lower back and neck pain, and with knee and ankle injuries.

Josh is a runner himself. He trains, races, and coaches distance runners through his own online program — which means he understands a training block from the inside: what a mid-season niggle costs you, why runners quietly ignore "just rest it," and how to keep someone moving while an injury settles rather than sidelining them by default.

He also particularly enjoys working with young athletes, and regularly treats the injuries that come with growing and playing sport at the same time — Osgood-Schlatter, Sever's disease, growing pains and shin splints — helping kids recover properly and stay in the game they love.

Josh combines manual therapy, dry needling and exercise-based rehabilitation into treatment plans built around each person's goals. He's driven by a genuine passion for helping people not just recover from pain, but get stronger and more confident.

He works mobile by choice. Seeing someone in their own home shows him things a clinic room never would — the stairs they climb, the chair they sit in, the space they have to train in. The plan is better for it.

Outside of work, you'll find Josh with his family, or at church.
